Adults

  • Are You Talking To Me?

Communicating effectively with adults. How do you engage adults in a way that connects with them where they are and where they've been?  What are the big ideas that will make or break your presentations to an adult audience?  Learn how to go beyond making a speech or reading your textbook to ensure that your audience can really learn and benefit from their time with you.  If you are teaching adults - you need to have this course.  For the sake of the search engines, we'll say that this is the study of androgogy.  But that would be a boring way to look at this topic.  So we prefer to describe this as "communicating and connecting with adults."  Learn from us the art and science behind adult learning no matter what or where or how you're currently teaching others.  (...and did we mention that knowing how adults learn takes the pressure off you - making your life more fun too?)

Here are the keys!

Remember that feeling when you were first given the keys to the car?  You were excited about the new world you were about to explore.  This seminar again offers you "the keys" to open your mind to explore new ideas and a new ways of thinking.

Unlock your creativity and go on an adventure in learning that you can apply to every aspect of your life.

  • Training The Trainer

Training is a part of successful companies.  When you are large enough to include a full or part-time trainer in your group - you can expand and enhance the training that happens inside your organization.  That will improve sales, service, safety, efficiency and effectiveness - if your trainer is good at what they do.

Our Train the Trainer program coaches people doing the training with a crash course on how to be effective in training others by understanding some of the basics about how adults learn, how to convert information into education and how to identify whether the trainees have learned it.  We also review basic presentation skills and how to engage your audience.

  • Let me show you how!

The important role of modeling and mentoring in the learning process for adults.  Explore some of the big ideas that makes a teacher in any subject effective.  Review how students learn.  Powerful tools to increase retention of information and increased motivation through a life to life exchange.  Connect with your students on a new level that will help them succeed.
